Cafe Three Ladies

Excellent little cafe. There are tables outside (including a balcony with a nice view in the back) and inside. The quiche and soup were very good. Everything was nice, really, and fast and friendly service too. Note you have to pre-book the classic tea service, it's not an option otherwise.

Walked in looking for a place to lunch without booking or looking at any reviews. The reception on entry was amazing and we were offered the option of lunching on the terrace overlooking the river (incredible). We had the quiche Lorraine and salad both of which were sublime, and washed down with a cooling ice-tea followed by a blonde beer. For dessert we had the cheesecake which was to die for, as reinforced by most of the customers on the terrace having a cheesecake too. The conversation with the other customers added to the superb atmosphere. I would highly recommend Cafe Three Ladies, amazing place, food and atmosphere, enjoy.

Best brunch place in Basel! Very taste food, big variety to choose what to eat. Friendly polite ladies working there. Recommended to make a reservation in advance. Good job ladies keep doing same way! I can definitely recommend this place for food lovers. Almost forgot to mention the great view from the teras.

Unbelievable place particularly for Sunday brunch many homemade and farm to table delicious fresh items. The ladies are so accommodating and friendly and hospitable. There’s a magnificent view of the rhein from the inside tables, but we enjoyed the outdoor café tables. The tea menu is so charming as well. The scones were the best I’ve ever had in the world.

This was a beautiful and quaint little stop. The food was delicious! Definitely try the quiche! It’s a perfect setting right on the Rhine river. And the customer service was wonderful

We were a bit lost, strolling the charming streets of Basel on a quiet Sunday afternoon, looking for a place to have lunch. That’s when we stumbled upon this little gem. The dish of the day was Quiche Lorraine with salad, and we decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a fantastic choice—the quiche was delicious, perfectly baked, and the salad was a real highlight, featuring a tasty mix of lentils and beetroot. On a hot day, the cold beer and homemade tea were just what we needed. The atmosphere was lovely too; we sat out on the terrace and ended up chatting with other people enjoying their brunch. For dessert, we had a slice of cheesecake that was simply exceptional. Everything about our visit was wonderful. Well done, Three Ladies! Highly recommended if you’re in Basel and looking for a cozy spot with great food and a welcoming vibe.

A charming cafe situated high up on the bank of the Rhine and offering great home-made food with a view of the river. There are four tables on the balcony itself and more seating inside with a relaxed cosy feel, ideal for a well earned break or a chance to catch up with friends. The service is quick and friendly and reflects the love and care that goes into the food and preparation. A special mention too for the scones.. perfect if you miss your english Cream Tea!
